City Council of Yecla, Department of Tourism of Yecla and Yecla Wine Route organized "Wine Fair 2018". This year the Wine Fair is celebrated on the second weekend of September, on days 7, 8 and 9.

The Board of Directors of the Wine Route Association of Yecla , in consensus with the Department of Culture, Tourism and the City of Yecla , has appointed Enochurista 2018 Noemí Martínez Tévar .

The multitudinous appointment has been celebrated during the days 8 and 9 of September of 2017 in the Murcian locality. After the development of the different proposals, the president of the Route of the Wine of Yecla, Juan Pedro Castaño, has valued very positively this new edition: " The response of the public ratifies us that the effort is worthwhile".

Last Friday, the VII Enotourism Nomination Gala was held at the Concha Segura Theater, presented by the journalist Noemí Martínez (RNE). There, the Yeclano playwright Francisco Ortuño Millán received the Enotourist of the Year Award: "Never in my life did I dream that this was going to happen to me," he said in an emotional speech. "Wine has a lot to do with the courage of a city",

Last September 5th, Inmaculada García, Councilor for Tourism, Juan Pedro Castaño, President of the Wine Route of Yecla and Jesús Verdu, Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, accompanied by the Mayor of Yecla Marcos Ortuño, presented the Wine Fair of Yecla 2017.

The Wine Route of Yecla offers the wine tourism experience throughout the year, but after the summer comes the traditional Wine Fair. A unique opportunity to discover the charms of the city on the second weekend of September.
