The Denomination of Origin of Yecla (Murcia) dates back to 1972 and raises the 'Monastrell' grape as an icon of its crops. Excellence, intensity and aroma are some virtues of its genuine wines, an increasingly international product thanks to the teamwork of the Yecla Wine Route.

Yecla Wine Route, in collaboration with the City Council of Yecla, the PDO and the Association of Choirs and Dances "Francisco Salzillo" organize the " Fiestas de la Vendimia 2019 " the second weekend of September.

The red wine Trapío, harvest 2016 and Consentido Monastrell Barrica 2017, have been awarded in the Korea Wine Challenge 2019 with silver medals respectively.
