PDO Yecla will be present in the activities of Murcia 2020 Spanish Capital of Gastronomy . The headquarters of the capital, located on the ground floor of the Romea Theater, will host a total of 15 tastings of the nine wineries belonging to the Yecla Protected Designation of Origin. The main protagonist will be the Monastrell grape, although there will be a place for other varieties authorized by the DO and that are also part of the Yeclanos wines.

The organic wines Barahonda Organic Barrica 2017, with gold medal, and Carro Organic 2018 and Barahonda Organic 2018, with two silver medals, have been awarded in Millésime Bio 2020; the world fair of organic wines that from January 27 to 29 is being held in Montpellier, France.
